Born in OK, spent a few years in AL, consider NC my home state, Asheville in particular. Graduated from UNC – Chapel Hill. Moved around a bit after that and ended up in Denver 25 years ago. Love, love, love it here. A great town, with progressive people, sunny days and terrible traffic.

I love to travel (worked for an airline for 10 years) and I love to garden and cook, both of which I came into late in life (my 40s). My favorite travel companion is my daughter and then my sister, who shares this blog with me.

I am an amateur photographer and am working on developing that skill daily with my sister. We shared a 1 year photography exercise which we posted on Flickr accounts. This blog is project #2 to keep working on photography and blog about our other shared and not shared interests.
